Your seed packet will contain more than 125 seeds, measured at 620-630 milligrams, of “Butterfly Milkweed” (Asclepias tuberosa) seeds, packaged in a kraft paper envelope.
Butterfly Milkweed produce unique, orange flowers that provide nectar for many pollinators, along with Monarch Butterflies.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Plant seeds under a thin layer (1/4″) of soil and water daily until seedlings are well-established. Germination time is 1-3 weeks.
Asclepias Tuberosa will generally grow well across most of North America, and definitely east of the Mississippi. Check your local herbarium to ensure Asclepias Tuberosa is native or naturalized in your state.
